How I work in Painter

step 1. think up idea. step 2. ? step 3. profit.

With rare exception, all of my work is created digitally in a program called Painter, which is developed by Corel. The novelty of Painter is that it tries to mimic real mediums. While I am not interested in creating images that look like actual watercolors, I enjoy the look and feel that I can achieve through Painter. For me, it does feel much more natural than Photoshop. However, Photoshop does have an amazing brush system, and I have used both programs to create custom brushes for my work.

I have split my painter guide up into a few sections and different pages to make it easier to follow, without that overwhelming wall of text feeling that critically strikes your brain for over 9000!
