And I forgot to stand up today… again
So, this is my finals week for my first term at Gnomon School of Visual Effects and I have been busting my ass, and loving every minute of it–well, almost. Its been a wild 10 weeks, and looking at my schedule for next semestre, it is about to get insane. I feel like I am just getting started. I can honestly say that every class so far at Gnomon has been extremely helpful and I feel as though I am getting my money’s worth.
And I certainly did for my Visual Communication final. A pot of 100 bucks was awarded to the best final in the class. It ended up as a tie between myself and fellow student Eduardo Borrego, and we split the pot even-steven.
I have uploaded several new pieces of work from my various finals. All of them done in photoshop. I find myself slowly moving away from Painter and back into Photoshop, which is something I had been meaning to do for a while now. I just love the brush system and over-all the stability and editing tools. Painter is still great for the media effects, the glow brush and blending tools, but I find that I am not having any more issues with blending in photoshop. I haven’t worked this clean in years and I am just cranking this stuff out.
I will also be redesigning my site over break, I hope, between working on commissions. I swear, I will get back to work!
